Spartanburg-based Milliken & Company recently opened a design studio and showroom in Beijing to
showcase its floor covering offerings. Located in Beijing Oriental Plaza in the Dongcheng District,
the showroom will function as a resource for designers, end users and sales staff in the area; as
well as offer support for client meetings with formal and informal meeting areas.
“Milliken is committed to supporting China’s growing commercial real estate market and
increased appetite for inspiring and innovative interior furnishings,” said David Moody, president,
Milliken’s global floor covering division. “This new space allows us to provide convenient and
superior customer service to our partners in Beijing and surrounding areas, while ensuring
continued progress in a rapidly expanding, dynamic economy.”
“The Beijing studio and showroom stresses Milliken’s client-forward way of thinking,” said
Barbara Haaksma, vice president of design and marketing for Milliken’s global floor covering
division. “By offering an engaging environment, our associates can create interior spaces that
