Germany-based A. Monforts Textilmaschinen GmbH & Co. KG will demonstrate a full-size Montex
6500 tenter at its ITM 2006 booth. Standard features include an integrated heat-recovery system,
Qualitex 750 visualization software and high-efficiency fan motors. A waterless cleaning system is
optional.
The new fan motors — provided by Siemens and offering up to 35,000 kilowatts per year of
energy savings — now are standard on all Montex tenters, Thermex hotflues and Dynair relaxation
dryers.
Monforts also will display the Matex Top-S padder, which features a new yellow padder roller.
The padder offers an improved squeezing effect and can reduce energy costs for the finishing line
by up to 30 percent.
The Matex Top-S padder from Monforts
Monforts’ Dynair relaxation dryer now features CADStream Mega nozzles, which enable an
increase in production of up to 10 percent. The nozzle, which will be highlighted at the show, was
designed to increase evaporation capacity.
In addition, Monforts will highlight the Moist Cross Linking (MXL) process, a new color nip
control device and the Compactomat 6000 for compressive shrinkage.
