Rieter Announces Rieter Award 2004 Winners
Rieter Textile Systems has announced the winners of this year’s Rieter Award. The awards were
presented to the six recipients during a visit to Rieter’s headquarters in Switzerland.During the
visit, the award winners had the opportunity to get to know Rieter — its products, culture and
values, and employees and management. An introduction to Switzerland and its people was also part
of the program.The recipients in turn presented their final examination papers. Rieter says the
level of professionalism in the recipients’work and presentation has been increasing from year to
year, indicating the high standard of textile training worldwide.

training worldwide.Rieter has been presenting the annual Rieter Award since 1989 to students or
young professionals in the textile industry with the goal to support young talent at universities
and institutes.The selection of the award winners takes place in close cooperation with the
universities and professors. The prizes are awarded to students or young employees in the field of
textiles who have attracted attention by their work and commitment.
