Fabric Sourcing Destination

According to organizers, products running the gamut of the fabric spectrum will be on display at
the Javits Convention Center in New York City July 16-18, 2013, at the biannual Texworld USA show.
United States-based Messe Frankfurt Inc. — the U.S. subsidiary of international exhibition
organizer Messe Frankfurt GmbH — partnered with Austria-based cellulosic fiber manufacturer Lenzing
Fibers to develop Texworld USA, which has its origins in Lenzing’s Innovation Asia fabric show.
Innovation Asia offered 24 manufacturers the chance to present their fabric collections featuring
Lenzing fibers — such as Tencel®, Lenzing Modal® and Lenzing Viscose® — to U.S. trade show
visitors. The expanded Texworld show still features a Lenzing Innovation Pavilion, which this
summer will showcase the work of more than 30 companies.

Sourcing Event

Texworld is in its 15th edition and has become the largest sourcing event in North America
for apparel fabric buyers, R&D personnel, designers, and merchandising and sourcing
professionals.

The show will again be colocated with the International Apparel Sourcing Show and the Home
Textiles Sourcing Expo (HTSE) to create a sourcing destination for the North American marketplace.

The International Apparel Sourcing Show is produced by Messe Frankfurt in partnership with
China-based The Sub-Council of Textile Industry, China Council for the Promotion of International
Trade (CCPIT TEX). The event focuses on contract manufacturing and private label development, as
well as sourcing for finished apparel. Apparel brands, retailers, wholesalers and independent
designers have access to this dedicated sourcing marketplace for finding domestic and international
apparel manufacturers.

HTSE features fabrics and soft goods for all home applications such as bath, bed, flooring,
kitchen, tabletop, upholstery, and wall and window coverings. The show is produced by Messe
Frankfurt in partnership with CCPIT TEX and in cooperation with Lenzing Fibers.

Show Participation

Texworld expects 350 exhibitors from around the world to participate this summer. In July
2012, 328 exhibitors from 15 countries were represented at the show. Messe Frankfurt reported that
303 exhibitors were international and 25 were domestic companies. First-time exhibitors came from
Brazil, Lebanon and Malaysia; and other countries and regions represented at the show included
Canada, China, Hong Kong, India, Italy, Japan, Korea, Pakistan, Spain, Taiwan, Turkey and the
United States.

In addition to the Lenzing Innovation Pavilion, the Japan Silk Association, Trade
Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP), Taiwan, and the Turkey-based Uludag Textile Exporters
Association (UTIB) hosted pavilions at the July 2012 show.

Approximately 4,000 visitors are expected to step through the doors at Texworld USA this
July, coming from such areas of the industry as manufacturing, trading, retail, design and buying.
This number is an increase over attendance figures from the same show a year ago, which hosted
3,297 visitors from 44 countries. Approximately 88 percent of 2012 visitors were domestic, with the
remaining 12 percent coming from international destinations.

According to Messe Frankfurt, top reasons given for attending the show in July 2012 were to
collect information for purchasing decisions, to visit current suppliers, and to view current
trends and find new resources. Post-show feedback also indicated 87 percent of show visitors found
what they were searching for on the show floor, and some 60 percent of show attendees either placed
or considered placing an order while at Texworld.

Messe Frankfurt projects 6,200 visitors will attend the three events this July.
