Faytex Shifts Manufacturing to China
U.S.-based Faytex® Corp., a supplier of performance fabrics to the footwear, apparel and sporting goods industries, has shifted manufacturing from Taiwan to Heshan City Tai Lee Textiles Ltd. (T.L.T.) in the Guangdong province of China.“This new association enables us to team up with a proven manufacturing partner with an excellent history in textile development and production,” said Faytex founder, Bill Fay Sr.According to Faytex,T.L.T. will be able to provide the company additional flexibility in the footwear industry, while expanding its capabilities in the apparel and sporting goods markets. Other benefits include T.L.T.’s location that allows faster China deliveries and export efficiencies worldwide, added lamination capabilities and enhanced product development opportunities.
