SHANGHAI, China — October 24, 2026 — Santoni China Group will participate in ITMA ASIA + CITME 2026 from November 20–24 at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (NECC) in Shanghai. Visitors can explore the Group’s circular and seamless knitting technologies, textile applications, AI-powered design platform and digital solutions at Hall 4.1, Booth C39.
Under the theme “Machine Evolved · Intelligence Delivered,” the Group will bring together innovations from Santoni, Jingmei and Terrot.
Founded in Brescia, Italy, in 1919, Santoni has built a century-long legacy of innovation in knitting technology. Since establishing its manufacturing presence in China in 2005, Santoni China has remained at the forefront of the knitting industry, advancing both circular knitting machinery and the transformative potential of digitalization and artificial intelligence.
Today, the Group brings together six distinctive equipment and component brands, four integrated engineering, R&D and manufacturing hubs, and a digital ecosystem designed for intelligent manufacturing. By uniting hardware with software, and specialist expertise with scalable capabilities, Santoni China Group goes beyond creating the machines and technologies that shape the fabrics of tomorrow—it is helping reimagine the future value chain of knitted products.
Advancing Circular Knitting Performance and Technology
The Group’s circular knitting showcase will highlight production efficiency, intelligent control, precision and fabric development flexibility.
The Santoni INNOTAS-HS on SJ7 Platform combines high-speed knitting with intelligent control and precise electronic fabric take-down. The Terrot UCC 672-ME features electronic three-way needle selection in both cylinder and dial, enabling double-sided jacquard patterns, three-dimensional textures and engineered ventilation zones, with a specialised mattress-fabric concept on display.
Meanwhile, Jingmei will showcase advances in double jersey open-width knitting, compound-needle technology and computerized jacquard rib transfer.
Seamless Versatility: Structural Innovation and Functional Performance
Santoni will present three seamless technologies: TOP2 ST for selective terry structures, SM8 TR1S for engineered mesh through transfer knitting, and TOP2 FAST for 40G fine-gauge seamless knitting.
Together, these technologies demonstrate possibilities for cushioning, ventilation, refined fabric textures and differentiated garment design, with applications ranging from sportswear and underwear to premium seamless swimwear.
Engineered to Perform. Designed to Inspire.
Beyond machinery, Santoni China Group will showcase innovative fabrics and finished application developed through circular and seamless knitting technologies.
The exhibition will explore four application themes: Performance, Outdoor & Training, Intimate and Sustainable, demonstrating how knitting engineering can translate into functional performance, comfort and creative design.
AI Design (SWS 3D) and Digital Solutions
The Group will also showcase SWS 3D, its AI-powered seamless design platform, integrating AI-assisted design, 3D visualization and digital development tools to support more intuitive and efficient product creation.
Its broader digital initiatives connect machinery, software, data and industry resources, covering machine connectivity, Industrial IoT, AI applications and supply-chain collaboration.
Through these developments, Santoni China Group continues to explore a more connected and responsive future for textile manufacturing.
