Specialty chemicals producer Archroma, Switzerland, has acquired a 49-percent stake in M. Dohmen S.A., Switzerland, a producer of textile dyes and chemicals for automotive, carpet and apparel markets. The companies will continue to operate separately.
“M. Dohmen is a perfect partner for us,” said Thomas Winkler, president, Textile Specialties, Archroma. “They bring complementary strengths, particularly in the areas of dyes for synthetic fibers and wool, and they are clearly a leading partner for the global automotive industry.”
