China Linen Textile Industry Inks Contract With Italian Firm Tanny Tex

China-based Heilongjiang Lanxi Sunrise Linen Textile Industry Co. Ltd. — a producer and supplier
of linen yarns and fabrics, and a wholly-owned subsidiary of China Linen Textile Industry Ltd. —
has entered into a contract to supply 1.4 million meters of semi-bleached linen fabric to
Italy-based Tanny Tex S.r.l., a supplier of linen and knitted fabrics. The contract is reported to
be worth approximately US$3.05 million.

Tanny Tex will receive a total of five shipments beginning this month and continuing through
May 2010.

“We have enjoyed a productive and growing relationship with Tanny Tex for five years, and
this year’s order showed an increase of 10 percent over the same period last year,” said Gao Ren,
chairman and CEO, China Linen Textile Industry. “Tanny Tex is continuing to expand its business,
which will result in higher production and sales for China Linen Textile in 2009 and 2010. This
large order demonstrates our commitment to producing the highest quality fabrics and the speed and
efficiency of our production processes.”
