The Korea-Trade Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA) will host a Korea Pavilion with more than 50
Korean companies showcasing their latest innovations and products at the first West Coast edition
of Material World and Technology Solutions, to be co-located with the L.A. International Textiles
Show and held at the California Market Center in Los Angeles Sept. 30-Oct. 2, 2009. Material World
and Technology Solutions will gather together fashion, sourcing, technology and logistics resources
sectors of the fashion industry and also will offer a home furnishings and apparel production
equipment and machinery section. The L.A. International Textile Show will include textile, trim and
services offered by mills and agents around the world.
“Korea continues to be recognized as a global leader in the worldwide production of textiles,
with textile exports playing a key role in the country’s economic growth,” said Tim von Gal,
president, Material World and Technology Solutions. “The expansive presence of the Korea Pavilion
at our new event in Los Angeles will give our attendees a first-hand look at Korea’s latest
innovations, new technologies and fashion production capabilities.”
Companies exhibiting at the Korea Pavilion will include IB International Corp., Masi
International, StarTex Co., DaeDo, Fashion Flying Co. Ltd. and Korea Textile Center, among others.
