EShakti Selects OptiTex Technology

India-based eShakti – a fashion label that offers online custom styling for the US market and
Zapelle, a label recently launched in India – has implemented 2-D and 3-D computer-aided design
software from Israel-based OptiTex Ltd. Customers can purchase individually designed apparel
influenced by Indian cuts and prints, and the new software helps eShakti designers minimize waste
and maximize productivity.

“By integrating OptiTex 2-D and 3-D design software, we have significantly reduced our
pattern making and sampling time,” said B G Kishnan, CEO, eShakti. “This change has doubled
eShakti’s productivity. Such an increase is impressive in the fashion industry.”

“The OptiTex presence in the Indian fashion market is expanding,” said Saar Machtinger,
director, OptiTex India. “Fashion companies realize the production and financial incentive to use
this innovative software. The OptiTex technology delivers a time and cost effective solution
bringing Indian fashion into the forefront with more advanced technologies.”
