Groupe CTC Opens New Subsidiary In China
CTC Groupe, France, announced the opening of its second Chinese subsidiary, CTC Shanghai. Located in the Pudong district, the new office has been in operation since January.The company said all services will be implemented in collaboration with CTC’s U.S. partner, Specialized Technology Resources Inc. Services offered include physical testing; performance evaluation (comfort, safety, and quality features of footwear, gloves, luggage, and leather goods); chemical analysis on the products and their components (textiles, leather, plastics); conformity inspections at various stages of the manufacturing process; end-product shipping inspections; and social compliance audits and factory audits in production zones.The new office is headed by Pierre Beaupoil, who oversees five engineers and consultants.
