Uster to Establish Manufacturing In China
Switzerland-based Uster Technologies AG has announced plans to establish manufacturing and development operations in China.“China is now a significant market for Uster Technologies,” said Geoffrey Scott, CEO. “Our customers have benefited from recent investments in our long-established sales and service operation to increase our presence in all the major textile areas, with local sales and service engineers in Beijing, Shanghai, Qingdao, Urumuqi and Wuhan…. This decision is part of Uster Technologies’ strategy to significantly invest in the Chinese market and grow business with products manufactured for the domestic Chinese market.” The location of the planned operation has not yet been determined.
