Intertek Labtest Purchases SDL Atlas DigiEye System
Intertek Labtest, an Indonesia based fabric testing specialist, has purchased a new DigiEye non-contact digital imaging system from England based SDL Atlas Ltd., the worldwide distributor for DigiEye. DigiEye uses optical imaging to provide automated, contact-free, color evaluation. According to SDL Atlas, the DigiEye technology is ideal for testing small and irregularly shaped samples, including curved and heavily textured items. The system can accommodate materials ranging from carpets and printed fabrics to lingerie and velours.

The DigiEye unit provides color evaluations down to a single pixel level automatically — even for multicolored and patterned samples.
