Morrison ReceivesOrders From Denim Manufacturers
Fort Lawn, S.C.-based Morrison Textile Machinery Co. has received orders from Formosa Textile Co. (Pvt.) Ltd. and Artistic Milliners, both denim garment manufacturers.Formosa Textile, Lesotho, a new venture of Taiwan-based Nien-Hsing Textile Co. Ltd., bought two compressive shrinking ranges — one pad steam dye range and one denim finishing range.The machines will be installed in Formosa’s new plant in Africa, which is scheduled to begin production in the first quarter of 2004.
Formosa Textile, a subsidiary of Taiwan-based Nien-Hsing Textile,bought two compressive shrinking ranges from Morrison Textile tobe installed in its Lesotho plant.Pakistan-based Artistic Milliners ordered one 24-rope indigo dye range and one overdye integrated denim finishing range.This order marks the company’s third production expansion.The indigo dye range will come equipped with Morrison’s new FCS system, designed to monitor and control range process functions.
