SINGAPORE — December 20, 2013 — Color Solutions International (CSI), a division of the DyStar Group, and Donghua University in Shanghai signed a long-term agreement to open a CSI Color Center within the University to serve as a training, resource and inspiration center for professors and designers.
The partnership between CSI and Donghua aims to raise the current technology and application standard for colors within the China Textile Industry as well as improve its sustainability and competitiveness. This strategic partnership will also deliver color communication and textile-dyeing training for both the professors and rising designers.
“Donghua University is clearly committed to nurturing the creative abilities of the future designers in China and CSI is proud to support and help accelerate these activities by opening a CSI Color Center on campus”, said Ron Pedemonte, Head of DyStar Textile Services “Furthermore, we are also excited to be part of the educational process by establishing and teaching color creation and communication courses at the University” he added.

Our students have already started to utilize CSI’s approximately 4,000 color ColorWall™ to create seasonal color forecasts and trends for the Chinese Brands & Retailers.”
