more than 150 seamless knitting companies that produce approximately 150 million pairs of seamless
underwear and 500 million pairs of shorts each year. These numbers represent approximately 73
percent of the seamless underwear and shorts manufactured in China each year and 24 percent of the
worldwide total.

report this one-stop-shop sourcing platform provides a synergistic effect with broader vision for
buyers from different sectors of the textile industry. The theme for this year’s show is
“Technological Innovation, New Product Promotion, Strengthening Cooperation and Facilitating
Interactions.” Just as Yiwu City is a hub for socks and seamless knitters, the area is also strong
in apparel production. According to show organizers, in the first half of 2011, total apparel and
accessories exports from that area totaled US$650 million.

Visitors to both shows will have the opportunity to learn about the latest trends in the
industry through a series of seminars and related activities. Some of the events include: Seminar
