NILIT® Increases Investments In China

MIGDAL HA’EMEK, Israel — April 14th, 2011 — NILIT® , a global manufacturer and leader in the
production of nylon 6.6, announced the signing of the Nilit (Suzhou) Engineering Plastic
Technologies Co. Ltd. “Expansion Project” which will broaden Nilit’s business scope and investment
in China. Nilit initially opened its nylon texturing facility in Suzhou, China in 2007 and its
plastics compounding manufacturing facility in 2009. This contract testifies to Nilit’s commitment
to the Industry and to providing its Chinese customers with quality products and local, expert
customer service.

A delegation from China flew to Israel on April 2nd for the signing ceremony. The Chinese
representatives included Mr. Yan Li, Mayor of Suzhou Municipal People’s Government, Mr. Yang
Zhiping, Chairman of Suzhou Industrial Park Administrative Committee, Mr. Tao Sunxian, Secretary
General of Suzhou Municipal People’s Government, as well as other municipality directors and Suzhou
Industrial Park executives.

Festive Signing Ceremony and Dinner Event

The signing took place on April 3rd at the Hilton Hotel in Tel Aviv. Mr. Michael Levi, Nilit
Chairman, and Mr. Yang Zhiping signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) agreement. The ceremony
was followed by a festive dinner at Herbert Samuel restaurant in Tel Aviv with the entire
delegation present. Special guests at the celebratory dinner included Israeli executive financial
figures and former Prime Minister Ehud Olmert and Amnon Shahak, former Army Chief of Staff and a
member of Nilit’s Board of Directors. As is customary, gifts were exchanged at the end of the
evening.

A Tour of Nilit’s Facilities from Sky and Land

The following day, four members of the Chinese delegation visited the Nilit plant in Migdal
Haemek, Israel. They were joined by Mr. Rami Bitensky, General Manager of Nilit China. At the
factory, the delegation met with Michael Levi, Arie Gottlieb, General Manager, and Nilit’s
Directors, and toured the facilities. Following the Nilit plant visit, the Chinese delegates
continued to Haifa for lunch before departing Israel that afternoon.
