Oerlikon Barmag Initiates Parts Shuttle Service In Baroda, India

Germany-based Oerlikon Barmag’s 15-year-old Service Station in Baroda, India, recently introduced a
shuttle service to help customers transport parts requiring maintenance and repair to its service
station. In its first four months of service, the red and white truck has  logged more than
10,000 kilometers taking parts from Barmag customers to the service station and back to the
customer.

“We wanted to make the regular servicing process and the necessary repairs easier for our
customers,” said Ramakant Katre, head of Oerlikon Barmag’s Service Station. “The idea was to make
it faster and more comfortable, which is why we introduced this new service.”
