Textile Days India To Be Held In October

The city of Mumbai will host a trio
of textile events next month under the banner of “Textile Days India.” Techtextil India, Texworld
India and Heimtextil India, all sponsored by Germany-based Messe Frankfurt, will take place Oct.
10-13, 2007, at the Bombay Exhibition Centre in Mumbai.

The premier edition of Techtextil India, the International Trade Fair for Technical Textiles
& Nonwovens, will showcase the products and technologies of exhibitors from more than 13
countries. Accompanying symposia include the Techtextil-Symposium India and the High-Tex from
Germany Symposium, which together will offer attendees 20 presentations on cutting-edge materials,
applications, markets and technologies.

The eighth edition of Heimtextil India, the India International Trade Fair for Home Textiles
& Accessories, will promote the latest home textile products from more than 250 anticipated
exhibitors.

The second edition of Texworld India, the International Trade Fair for Apparel Fabrics &
Accessories, promises visitors a look at the latest luxury apparel fabrics and accessories. It is
the only global trade fair for the international apparel textile industry in India. Exhibitors will
come from India as well as China, Indonesia, Austria, Hong Kong and Korea, among other countries
and regions. A highlight of the event will be the T.W.I.S.T. trend show developed by Italian
designer Ornella Bignami — the only directional trend show held in India.
