Schoeller Establishes Subsidiary In Japan
Schoeller Textil AG, a Switzerland-based high-tech fabrics supplier, recently celebrated the opening of its Japan subsidiary, Schoeller Japan Inc. The new operation, headquartered in Tokyo, will be led by CEO Hideaki Hirayama, who previously worked for a German textile company. Supporting Hirayama is Hitoe Ogawa, marketing and sales director.

Other areas for development include interior design and bedding, as well as industrial applications of Schoeller technologies.Schoeller Japan will develop a marketing, training and service department, as well as establish a showroom for the company’s Japanese customers.
