Küsters OpensNew Factory In Shanghai
Eduard Küsters Maschinenfabrik GmbH & Co. KG, Germany, recently opened a new factory in Shanghai.The company says the new plant will produce machines and complete ranges for wet finishing, as well as calenders for the nonwoven and textile industries in China.By providing machinery and on-site installation services, as well as roll repairs, Küsters says, the new factory will significantly improve the company’s position in the growth market of China.The activities of the previous Shanghai Service Center, which provided support for the commissioning of machines, installation of machines delivered to China, and aftersales services, will be supported by the new factory.In addition to Shanghai, Küsters also owns Hong Kong-based Küsters Far East Ltd., a marketing company.
