CITME Technology: Picanol NV/GTP Accessories

Belgium-based Picanol NV will display its wares on two stands at CITME 2006. At the Belgian
Pavilion, visitors can view Picanol’s OMNIplus 800 4 P 190 air-jet machine weaving a four-color
shirting fabric; a GamMax-8 J 190 rapier machine weaving upholstery fabrics; and an OMNIjet 4 P 190
air-jet machine weaving a bottomweight fabric. Special features to be highlighted include the
prewinder switch-off system, which automatically switches to another prewinder running the same
filling material if a filling break occurs on a package or prewinder; Sumo motor with Optispeed,
which offers variable speed control of the Sumo drive; Picanol’s electronic leno system; and the
automatic relay valve drive, which automatically adapts the closing timing of the relay nozzles
based on the filling yarn to reduce air consumption.

In the Chinese hall, Picanol will demonstrate the GTXplus 4 R 190 rapier weaving machine and
an OMNIjet 4 P 190 air-jet weaving machine.

At the Belgian Pavilion, Picanol subsidiary Global Textile Partner (GTP) Accessories will
highlight weaving accessories from Steel Heddle and Te Strake Textile.
